Club Stories
Volunteers from Scarborough Bluffs teamed up with DeSantos Martial Arts to prepare and serve a hearty community dinner at Evangel Mission Hall. Their generosity, teamwork, and genuine care helped create an evening filled with warmth, dignity, and connection for everyone who attended. It was a powerful reminder of what happens when neighbours come together to lift one another up.

This past Christmas, the Scarborough Bluffs Rotary Club continued its long-standing commitment to supporting vulnerable families in our community by organizing a generous donation of holiday gifts for the residents of Julliette’s Place, a local shelter providing safety and support for women and children escaping violence.

Empowering Education Through Innovation: Diane Montgomery and the Study Smart App

The Scarborough Bluffs Rotary Club recently had the privilege of hosting Diane Montgomery, a passionate advocate for inclusive education and the visionary behind Study Smart Inclusive Solutions Inc. Her presentation left a lasting impression, and the club is deeply grateful for the insights she shared on transforming how students learn.

The Scarborough Bluffs Rotary Club was proud to attend the Adhika 40th Anniversary Gala, a remarkable celebration of four decades of advocacy, cultural heritage, and community empowerment.   The event brought together leaders and changemakers from across Canada and the Philippines to honour Adhika’s legacy of uplifting marginalized voices and fostering cross-cultural understanding.

Scarborough Bluffs Rotary Club and the DeSantos Foundation Unite for Global Education

Each year, the DeSantos Foundation hosts its inspiring “Walk from the Tower to the Falls” a 140+ km journey from Toronto to Niagara Falls that brings together community members, students, and supporters for a cause that stretches far beyond the scenic route. In 2025, the Scarborough Bluffs Rotary Club once again stepped up as a proud partner, amplifying the impact of this event and reinforcing their commitment to global and local education initiatives.
